This small Ferrite (Ceramic) Disc Magnet is of our few single sided magnets. A single sided magnet is designed for one face of the magnet to have both north and south poles on it. They come in a diameter of 22mm and with a thickness of 3mm. It has a magnetic flux reading of 1247 Gauss, a Y10 Isotropic grade and a pull force of 390 grams.
The reliability and heat resistance of these single sided ferrite disc magnets allow for versatility in their application. The most common application for these single-sided disc magnets is souvenir magnets as well as fridge magnets, due to their ability to be recessed in an object and used to adhere it to a fridge or other ferrous metallic surface. Due to their affordability, their use in arts and craft application is also quite common. When using these magnets for such applications, an epoxy glue is recommended as this proves to be the strongest and most reliable. Ensure the surface is cleaned and dried of the thin film of magnetic powder around the ferrite magnet.

The Pull Force listed for each magnet is based on lifting 10mm thick steel from a horizontal surface. Magnets on a vertical surface (of 10mm thick steel) are generally able to hold around only 30% of the pull force listed in the product description.
