Neodymium Cylinder Magnet - 25.4mm x 50.8mm | N52

Magnetic Product Description:

This neodymium cylinder magnet has a diameter of 25.4mm and a height of 50.8mm. Identified by AMF magnet part number 21004/N52. LIMITED STOCK.

Uses for our rare earth cylinder magnets:

These strong Neodymium Cylinder magnets have great versatility and can be used in multiple applications varying in pull force and size requirements. This magnet specifically is 25.4mm in diameter, and 50.8mm in length with an incredibly strong pull force of 38.75kg. The phenomenal pull force is due to the higher grade of the magnetic material used, other Neodymium magnets of the same size but lower grade would have a considerably lower pull force. The use of Neodymium material has greatly improved the function of multiple industries due to the high quality pull force coupled with their smaller than usual size - they take up less space within motors and can function at a higher level! Cylinder magnets with axial orientation project a highly concentrated field with deep penetration characteristics, proving to be highly useful within sensing equipment and other devices where reliability and accuracy are required.

N.B. These Magnets are extremely powerful and capable of inflicting serious and painful injury if mishandled or used recklessly.

yeah greatness. Really pleased with the postage handling & delivery time/price XD Great Magnet Love it

Great and very powerful magnet and am treating seeds to north hemispheric field energy as we speak. Can't get over awesome it is for such a decent price! Will probably get different types from here at AMF

QUALITY

I can say their customer service is absolutely fantastic. Professional. However I'm not so convinced about the magnet quality. I purchased the N52 because they're a very strong magnet. The one I received was not quite on par with my friends N52. So I really have to say magnet quality was very poor.

AMF Reply: Hi Mark, thank you for your feedback! The pull force for the 25.4mm x 50.8mm Neo Cylinder you purchased is 38.75 kg so if you've experienced less strength than that please contact us as the dimensions and pull force may differ from your friend's N52 magnet.

NB: Ranges are indicative for product category, please check individual products for specic values within that range.

The most common coating for Neodymium magnets is Nickel + Copper + Nickel (Ni + Cu + Ni). This coating offers the magnet relatively good protection from corrosion and passive applications. If the magnet will be exposed to moisture or liquid then consider the use of an organic coating such as Epoxy. A hard wearing coating, Epoxy is suited to applications where the magnet will come under some friction or knocking.

Magnets are readily available in Blocks, Discs, Cylinders & Rings. AMF Magnetics specializes in the supply of short-run prototype magnets including Arc Segments, various magnetic orientations etc. If you need a magnet size that we don't carry in stock, submit a Design-a-Magnet enquiry for a quote on your custom magnet design.

Neodymium magnets are offered in several different grades. The first section N30-54 has an operating temperature of up to 80 degrees. Most of our stock only goes up to N38. The second section, denoted with the "M" prefix after the grade has an operating temperature 100 degrees. After this the grades are "H", "SH", "UH" & "EH". In order for the magnet to withstand a higher operating temperature, during production more of the raw material PrNd is incorporated as these elements have a naturally occurring resistance to high temperatures.
