Magnetic Product Description:
This neodymium cylinder magnet has a diameter of 6mm and a height of 25mm. It has a magnetic flux reading of 6255 Gauss and a pull force of 1.5kg. It is identified as part number 21039.
Uses for our rare earth cylinder magnets:
This N42 grade Neodymium cylinder is our longest cylindrical magnet with a 6mm diameter, lending it a particularly strong pull force. The more Neodymium material between the North and South Pole surfaces, the greater the magnetic force generated by the magnet. These Rare Earth Cylinders have deeply penetrative but narrow fields making them ideal for applications that require a strong magnetic bond with a limited surface area available. The elongated height dimension of this cylinder also produces a field that can pass through other surfaces to detect metallic objects that may not be visibly evident.
- good productused in a oil sump plug to collect worn iron particles. Very strong magnets
- used for a DIY guitar pickup, perfect size!Bought the 25mm one to cut in half to use in 2 pick ups made from bobbins and coil wire. Fit the bobbin perfectly and worked an absolute treat! Prompt delivery too.
