Neodymium Pot Magnet with Threaded Hook - 32mm diameter x 47mm

Threaded Magnetic Pots Product Description:

This rare earth pot magnet with a threaded hook has a strong pull force and is available in a wide range of sizes and strengths. AMF magnetics offers bulk discounts for this product. This Neodymium pot has a pull strength of 34kg measured against mild steel and a weight of 56 grams. It has a diameter of 32mm, a total height of 47mm and a magnet housing thickness of 8mm. This neodymium pot magnet has an M6 thread with an 8mm hook. It is identified by the AMF magnet part number AMFYPE32.

Uses for our rare earth threaded hook holding magnets:

These Neodymium magnetic holding pots have a Hook accessory that can support heavy weights. Pot magnets redirect their magnetic field to their uncapped base, supporting a superior holding force. Both the North and South poles are represented at the flat holding surface so, unlike uncapped magnets, two pot-style magnets will not attract in a reciprocal fashion.

These Hook magnets are excellent organisational tools for circumstances where clutter and disorder can be inefficient, dangerous and unsightly. They attach to any metallic surface that has sufficient iron content and this 32mm diameter item can hold up to 34 kg under optimal conditions. Decluttering workplaces or recreational areas with Hook-type magnets has far reaching benefits in terms of both safety and convenience.

Amazing holding power

I am very impressed with the holding power of the magnets holding my solar lights up over the Christmas period even with very high winds. They never let me down.

Wall and ceiling hangings

These magnetic hook magnets and the disc magnets have been the saviour of my post Black Summer bushfire recovery rebuild. I lost everything I owned in the fires in Mallacoota.

To rebuild with new bushfire related planning regulations in place meant I had to think outside the box in order to make the house a home.

Enter AMF magnets.

As all walls and ceilings are metal I was desperate to find some way of being able to hang anything from the ceilings or walls.

AMF hook magnets and disc magnets have solved my dilemma perfectly.

Everything is attached using a wide variety of AMF products.

They are brilliant !

NB: Ranges are indicative for product category, please check individual products for specic values within that range.

The most common coating for Neodymium magnets is Nickel + Copper + Nickel (Ni + Cu + Ni). This coating offers the magnet relatively good protection from corrosion and passive applications. If the magnet will be exposed to moisture or liquid then consider the use of an organic coating such as Epoxy. A hard wearing coating, Epoxy is suited to applications where the magnet will come under some friction or knocking.

Magnets are readily available in Blocks, Discs, Cylinders & Rings. AMF Magnetics specializes in the supply of short-run prototype magnets including Arc Segments, various magnetic orientations etc. If you need a magnet size that we don't carry in stock, submit a Design-a-Magnet enquiry for a quote on your custom magnet design.

Neodymium magnets are offered in several different grades. The first section N30-54 has an operating temperature of up to 80 degrees. Most of our stock only goes up to N38. The second section, denoted with the "M" prefix after the grade has an operating temperature 100 degrees. After this the grades are "H", "SH", "UH" & "EH". In order for the magnet to withstand a higher operating temperature, during production more of the raw material PrNd is incorporated as these elements have a naturally occurring resistance to high temperatures.
