Neodymium Pot Magnet with Threaded Eyelet - 25mm x 42mm

Eyelet Neodymium Holding Pot Description:

This Rare Earth Threaded Eyelet Pot Magnet is extremely high strength with a pull strength of 22kg and a weight of 37 grams. It has a diameter of 25mm, a total height of 42mm and a magnet housing height of 18mm. This Neodymium Pot Magnet has an M5 thread with a 5mm eyelet, and is identified by AMF Magnetics Product Code AMFYPF25.

Uses for our Rare Earth Threaded Magnetic Pots:

A great solution for storage as well as temporary suspension applications, these Neodymium Holding Magnets with a threaded eyelet are some of our most popular items. The eyelet itself can be inserted and removed from the thread whenever desired. These Neodymium eyelets are great for suspension applications as well as clearing space and hanging items out of the way. The powerful magnetic pot is encased in mild steel in order to protect the magnet from chipping and cracking, which is common with neodymium magnets. The casing also directs the magnetic field around to the exposed side, or base, which as a result amplifies the magnetic holding force. This makes the permanent magnet more efficient as it emits a stronger than usual pull force, of 22kg, with only a small diameter of 25mm.

Grey nomad's best friend

I have about 20 of these little suckers of varying sizes throughout my camping van. They are used for hundreds of little jobs from hanging tea towels, clothes lines, keeping insect screens anchored, temporary shade screens. They allow me to do numerous hacks in the van without having to drill holes or use glue. I wouldn't be without them. The larger ones are unbelievably strong.

The most common coating for Neodymium magnets is Nickel + Copper + Nickel (Ni + Cu + Ni). This coating offers the magnet relatively good protection from corrosion and passive applications. If the magnet will be exposed to moisture or liquid then consider the use of an organic coating such as Epoxy. A hard wearing coating, Epoxy is suited to applications where the magnet will come under some friction or knocking.

Magnets are readily available in Blocks, Discs, Cylinders & Rings. AMF Magnetics specializes in the supply of short-run prototype magnets including Arc Segments, various magnetic orientations etc. If you need a magnet size that we don't carry in stock, submit a Design-a-Magnet enquiry for a quote on your custom magnet design.

Neodymium magnets are offered in several different grades. The first section N30-54 has an operating temperature of up to 80 degrees. Most of our stock only goes up to N38. The second section, denoted with the "M" prefix after the grade has an operating temperature 100 degrees. After this the grades are "H", "SH", "UH" & "EH". In order for the magnet to withstand a higher operating temperature, during production more of the raw material PrNd is incorporated as these elements have a naturally occurring resistance to high temperatures.
