This Neodymium Rare Earth Block Magnet has a length of 40mm, a width of 10mm and a thickness of 4mm. It has the AMF magnet part number 22008. It has a centred 4mm countersunk hole with an 8mm head width. Neodymium magnetic material is super strong, providing for a powerful magnetic strength. This strong Neodymium Magnetic block has a pull force of 3.5KG, which is impressive considering its weight of 10gm.

Close the door

Had recently acquired a 1.8m metal cupboard from my neighbour. It had no locking / closing mechanism and so the doors would keep swinging open. The Neodymium Block - 40mm x 10mm x 4mm (Countersunk 4-8mm) worked a treat in keeping them closed.

A quick and easy way to improve the magnetic door seals on refrigerators

The refrigerator door was often left partly open. This was usually caused by something in the refrigerator leaning against the door.

On one refrigerator I simply placed one of these strong magnets behind the plastic door seal. On another I cut the door seal, removed a piece of the plastic door seal magnet and replaced it with one of these strong magnets. These refrigerator doors don't get left partially open any more.
