Rubber Coated Pot Magnets

These holding magnets consist of high strength Neodymium Rare Earth Pot Magnets in a durable Santoprene rubber coating. The rubber coating protects the magnet against delicate surface areas. They are commonly used in holding, gripping or clamping functions.

AMF supply rubber-coated female thread, male threat and rectangular pot magnets with or without a handle. Rubber coated Rare Earth Magnetic Pots sometimes feature a central void which can be fixed into with a bolt. Alternatively, an eyelet or hook can be inserted. Friction between the rubber coating and steel surface that the magnet is bonded provides for superior slide resistance.

Manufacturers use rubber coated pot magnets for holding and fastening applications to create a fixing or hanging point. They are especially useful when using sensitive surfaces like glass, plastics, or highly finished vehicular surfaces. Rubber coating can also prevent corrosion in marine, aquatic or external environments. As well as where metal strike presents a risk to the magnet in mechanical environments related to motors and machinery.
