AMF Magnetics is HACCP certified and supplies high-strength Grate Magnets to maximise product purity and protect processing equipment. Designed for powders, granules, and liquids, these grids efficiently capture fine ferrous contaminants to meet strict safety standards.
Trusted across the Food, Chemical, and Pharmaceutical industries, our grate magnets help maintain clean materials, free from iron filings, rust, and other unwanted particles.
FAQ
What are grate magnets used for?
They remove ferrous contaminants like iron particles from bulk materials in industries such as food processing, plastics, and recycling.
How strong are modern grate magnets?
Rare Earth Neodymium grate magnets reach 10,000+ Gauss, up to six times stronger than ceramic magnets, enabling them to capture even the finest particles.
What makes grate magnets easy to maintain?
They are simple to clean—collected debris can be wiped off or blown away with compressed air, minimising downtime.
How are the magnetic bars arranged?
Typically four bars are spaced at 50mm with 25mm clearance, maximising contaminant capture while keeping material flow smooth.
