This rare earth female threaded pot magnet has a diameter of 22mm, a post height of 3mm, a base thickness of 6mm, a M3 female thread, and a Santoprene rubber coating that protects delicate surface areas. This female threaded magnet has a pull force of 5kg and a weight of 12 grams. It is identified by the AMF magnet part number RCND22F.


Uses for our Rare Earth female thread pot magnets:

These Rubber Coated Neodymium Pot magnets have a Female Thread for attachment with a bolt. The coating protects delicate surfaces like glass or paints from scratching and also offers a degree of anti-slip protection to applications where this is a problem. When magnets are bolted onto equipment or material that is non-metallic, these items can now be attached to vehicles, motorhomes, temporary buildings shipping containers or any other metal surface. This can be done without penetrating, damaging or scratching the surface and without the need for trade skills or tools.

Used in conjunction with a Male threaded counterpart, two metal items can be bonded magnetically in a permanent or temporary manner and free of screws, bolts, nails or rivets and the penetrative damage associated with their use. Storing equipment or tools in this fashion can be convenient and efficient and provides space-saving benefits in many cases. For truckers, campers and emergency service workers, these Rubber Coated Holding magnets offer a fast and easy method of attachment for things like temporary containment lines, warning signs and flashing lights while also protecting their vehicle paint finishes.

Very handy little magnets

I got 4 of these magnets to do one job to hold my glue pots up onto steel frame studs but only needed two of them. They are great

The most common coating for Neodymium magnets is Nickel + Copper + Nickel (Ni + Cu + Ni). This coating offers the magnet relatively good protection from corrosion and passive applications. If the magnet will be exposed to moisture or liquid then consider the use of an organic coating such as Epoxy. A hard wearing coating, Epoxy is suited to applications where the magnet will come under some friction or knocking.

Magnets are readily available in Blocks, Discs, Cylinders & Rings. Neodymium magnets are offered in several different grades. The first section N30-54 has an operating temperature of up to 80 degrees. Most of our stock only goes up to N38. The second section, denoted with the "M" prefix after the grade has an operating temperature 100 degrees. After this the grades are "H", "SH", "UH" & "EH". In order for the magnet to withstand a higher operating temperature, during production more of the raw material PrNd is incorporated as these elements have a naturally occurring resistance to high temperatures.
