Home - Frequently Asked Questions - Self-Adhesive Magnetic Strips & Tape - How to cut the magnetic tape to length

How to cut the magnetic tape to length

Magnetic tapes of any dimension are easy to cut with scissors or any other type of cutting tool. This means you can cut a 30 metre roll into the exact length required for your project, such as the four sides of a window frame, for instance. Alternatively you can purchase pre-cut lengths of magnetic tape or sheeting that are 1 metre long or in multiples of 1 metre. In many cases it is easier to join the A and B tapes together with the magnetic sides and then cut them to length you require simultaneously.
