Rare Earth Magnets Range and Tolerance - Custom Magnets

Range and Tolerance

Our range of magnets has grown and diversified in the more than 40 years that AMF Magnetics has been operating. We stock a wide variety of shapes including block magnets, cylinder magnets, ring magnets and much more. However some customers require very specific dimensions, grades or coatings that are not available in our standard catalogue.

Customer service is key to our success and we are passionate about helping our customers find the best magnetic solution for their needs. If you would like to enquire about placing an order for a custom magnet please contact our team. We have many years of experience sourcing high quality magnets and we have fantastic relationships with factories we can trust.

Although our range is diverse it can be difficult to find magnets in stock if you are looking for a less common coating such as Parylene-C or Teflon. Likewise some shapes of magnets such as arch magnets or sphere magnets are not often held in stock by retailers due to their limited market.

Our team is always here to assist you with any questions you may have. Just about any size, shape, grade or coating can be ordered in a custom magnet batch. They can even be made with a higher operating temperature range.

Minimum orders generally apply and this is normally in the range of 500-1000 pieces. It can take a number of months from instigating the design process through to delivery. However if you have a particularly urgent job get in touch and we will do our best to assist if we can.

The worldwide pandemic has greatly impacted global supply chains and magnets are no exception. There is greater uncertainty and some delays in the production process however we are always transparent with our customers and we will communicate the timeline as we progress. Currently the lead time is up to 16 weeks however this is constantly changing. We strongly recommend customers get in contact to discuss their requirements as early as possible.
