Ferrite Block Magnet - 52mm x 25mm x 12.7mm | North South Marked

Magnetic Product Description:

This ferrite block magnet is 52mm long, 25mm wide and 12.7mm high. This plastic encased ferrite magnet has a pull force of 1.5 kg. The plastic case is red on the South side and green  on the North side. It is identified by the AMF magnet part number 12038.

Uses for our ferrite block magnets:

In days not so far gone by, people selling ice sold sports bag sized lumps of the stuff off the back of a truck, like the milk trucks of a similar era. With the advance and widespread use of direct current electrical motors installed in refrigerators and freezers, the ice sellers have gone the way of the oft quoted Dodo bird. (The Dodo bird to its regret was both flightless and very tasty).

Magnets, including these ferrite block magnets, 52mmx25mmx12.7mm in height have played a critical role in this chilly technological revolution. A direct current motor is any class of motor that converts direct current electrical power into mechanical power. The most common types of DC motor rely on forces produced by magnetic fields. Ferrite block magnets provide these fields.

In conjunction with water filters, also often housing magnets including ferrite block magnets to remove impurities like salt, rust and other metallic compounds, refrigerators and ice making appliances are a very welcome development. In developing countries and in tropical regions preventing heat and humidity from spoiling food and beverages is a real problem. These DC motor driven appliances save money otherwise lost on food and beverage spoilage. The appliances also save on health care costs from people who might have otherwise have got sick consuming spoiled foodstuffs.

Small DC motors housing ferrite block magnets are used in tools, toys and many other appliances. Larger DC motors are used in the propulsion of electrical vehicles, elevators and hoists. This type of technology, engaging magnetic power, has placed an affordable and reliable power source in the hands of nearly every person on earth. An accessible and affordable technology that allows everyone to improve their own lives, the lives of those around them and their collective outlook.

Our large ferrite block magnets are often used in sweeping and separation applications. Smaller ferrite block magnets are commonly used in DC motors, as sensors and in various hand crafts.

Powerful

I purchased these Ferrite Block Magnet’s, as they fit the dimensions and best pull force for a project that I am building and best of all they are colour coded, If it works out ok, I dare say I may need more to repeat the project over a few more times.

Amazing magnets

These magnets are perfect for use in polarity therapy. For any trained practitioner or student, clearly defined colour for north/south, making energy balances easy. AMF Magnets are an amazing company to deal with, great service, easy and great to communicate with and delivery time was perfect. Highly Recommended.

These are great.

We use them at work and the case fixes the problem of ferrite magnets chipping. My first order didn't arrive. I only got standard postage and with effects of covid... Not Magnet.com.au's fault, but when I told them they immediately sent another order with express delivery at no cost. I had my magnets first thing next work day. The service is FANTASTIC!!! Thank you
