Made from strong Rare Earth magnetic material, this permanent magnet is extremely strong for its size. It has a magnetic flux reading of 4455 Gauss and a strong magnetic pull force of 160 grams. This small-sized, circular disc-shaped Rare Earth Disc has a diameter of 3mm and a height of 1.5mm. The nickel coating provides for superior corrosion resistance, enabling long-term use with minimal wear.
This miniature Neodymium Disc is one of the smallest magnets in the AMF range and its tiny proportions make it incredibly versatile. This type of Neodymium magnet is ideal for applications where the magnet needs to be discreet yet effective. Small rare earth magnets can be used as a single magnet for lightweight projects or in a series for a stronger hold.
This small disc is popularly used in arts, crafts projects and hobby areas to hold decorations, artworks, models and to display retail items. Model and jewellery makers use these tiny but strong magnetic discs for closure or clamping mechanisms.

The Pull Force listed for each magnet is based on lifting 10mm thick steel from a horizontal surface. Magnets on a vertical surface (of 10mm thick steel) are generally able to hold around only 30% of the pull force listed in the product description. This is due to the effects of gravity and the lack of friction between the surface and the shiny magnet. Read More
