This Neodymium Rare Earth Magnetic Disc has a diameter of 5mm and a height of 2mm. Although tiny, powerful Rare Earth magnetic material makes this magnet extremely strong. It has a magnetic flux reading of 3935 Gauss and a pull force of 400g. It is identified by the AMF magnet part number 20079B.
This tiny Neodymium magnet is well suited for holding and attaching lightweight items such as paper or cardboard. It is also a handy solution for keeping track for small household items that are often misplaced. Simply attach a magnet to the back of keys or remotes and store them on the fridge or any metal surface.
The large surface area of the flat plane enables these magnets to create a stable and strong magnetic bond that isn’t easily dislodged. Rare Earth magnets have become important inclusions in the design and function of modern technologies. They can be found in the equipment used in the Medical, Scientific and Communications industries.

The Pull Force listed for each magnet is based on lifting 10mm thick steel from a horizontal surface. Magnets on a vertical surface (of 10mm thick steel) are generally able to hold around only 30% of the pull force listed in the product description. This is due to the effects of gravity and the lack of friction between the surface and the shiny magnet. Read More
