This neodymium magnetic disc has a diameter of 8mm and a height of 1mm. It has a magnetic flux reading of 1487 Gauss and a pull force of 0.353 kilos. It is identified by the AMF magnet part number D-D8H1-N35.
Small Neodymium Disc magnets are lightweight, powerful and easy to apply to any situation where a magnetic bond is needed. Lower N35 Grade Neodymium material used inside this Disc magnet gives it a weaker level of bond strength and allows for subtle variations in the effort required to break the magnetic bond when this ability is more practical or necessary. This can be ideal for scale models or other creative projects where an item needs to be secured but also easily removed or detached from time to time. This type of detachable bond is especially useful for commercial applications where plant and equipment need inspections, maintenance or cleaning at regular intervals. AMF has an extensive range of small, round Neodymium Disc magnets in varying sizes and strengths to suit almost any situation and budget.

The Pull Force listed for each magnet is based on lifting 10mm thick steel from a horizontal surface. Magnets on a vertical surface (of 10mm thick steel) are generally able to hold around only 30% of the pull force listed in the product description. This is due to the effects of gravity and the lack of friction between the surface and the shiny magnet. Read More
