Rubber Coated Carabiner Hook Magnet Description:
This powerful Silicon rubber coated magnet comes with a Carabiner Hook. The rubber is 105mm in length, and is 45mm wide at its widest part. This product has a strong Neodymium magnet which is 22mm diameter, a thickness of 5mm. This product is identified by AMF Magnetics part number 88708.
This product comes with a steel backing plate which is 65mm long; 45mm wide; and a 0.5mm thickness. The plate has a 3M 9448A adhesive strip.
The Croc Magnet is made from food grade Antimicrobial Silicon Rubber that is FDA Approved (U.S Federal Drug Administration). Antimicrobial is defined in the British Dictionary as “Capable of destroying or inhibiting the growth of disease-causing microbes”.
Some Uses for our Neodymium Magnetic Carabiner Hook:
1. Cooking outside on the BBQ / Grill - attach utensils to the lip of the lid/hood, this gives you more space for food or plates on the bench.
2. Open cans or tins with pull rings. handy if you don't want to wreck your nails, or have arthritis.
3. Hide your keys on your car, no more carrying heavy keys around, the non-reflective rubber and will blend into the underside of the vehicle easily. A great hiding spot is behind the tyres
The full range of possibilities can be found here.
Installation Steps - Mounting Plate
1. Peel the 3M sticker from the back of the metal plate and stick the metal plate onto the surface of your phone, adhere with finger or hand pressure on it for at least 20 seconds.
2. Clean and dust and grime from the back of your phone. Make sure the surface of your phone back is dry and smooth.
3. We suggest you wait for 24 hours before using to make sure the metal plate sticks firmly onto your phone back. If you want to remove it, you can use a hair dryer blowing hot wind on it to melt the adhesive first and a business card or credit card to pry it off.

The most common coating for Neodymium magnets is Nickel + Copper + Nickel (Ni + Cu + Ni). This coating offers the magnet relatively good protection from corrosion and passive applications. If the magnet will be exposed to moisture or liquid then consider the use of an organic coating such as Epoxy. A hard wearing coating, Epoxy is suited to applications where the magnet will come under some friction or knocking.
Magnets are readily available in Blocks, Discs, Cylinders & Rings. AMF Magnetics specializes in the supply of short-run prototype magnets including Arc Segments, various magnetic orientations etc. If you need a magnet size that we don't carry in stock, submit a Design-a-Magnet enquiry for a quote on your custom magnet design.
Neodymium magnets are offered in several different grades. The first section N30-54 has an operating temperature of up to 80 degrees. Most of our stock only goes up to N38. The second section, denoted with the "M" prefix after the grade has an operating temperature 100 degrees. After this the grades are "H", "SH", "UH" & "EH". In order for the magnet to withstand a higher operating temperature, during production more of the raw material PrNd is incorporated as these elements have a naturally occurring resistance to high temperatures.
