Neodymium Block Magnet - 5mm x 5mm x 5mm N50

Magnetic Product Description:

This rare earth block magnet has a length of 5mm, a width of 5mm and a thickness of 5mm. It is identified by the AMF magnet part number B-W5H5L5-N50.

Uses for our rare earth block magnets:

This small Neodymium block magnet is a perfect cube of magnetic power. There is something incredibly enticing about the perfect symmetry of a cube and it is no surprise these little magnets are popular with our customers. Cubes are also practical as the equal dimensions remove the need to double-check the measurements and orientation when fixing the magnet into position. The powerful Neodymium material used in manufacturing this magnet is not only the strongest type of magnetic material, it is also the second highest grade available. This rare earth block has a silver finish courtesy of the Nickel coating that serves to protect the magnet from corrosion in standard atmospheric conditions. For applications that are inclined to encounter humid environments, there are alternative coatings such as Gold and Teflon that provide an even higher level of resistance to humidity than the standard Nickel coating. Gold coated magnets are still susceptible to rust when exposed to the elements or damage from their environment. If you need to ensure that your gold magnet does not rust, you may want to consider applying a sealant which will extend the lifespan of the coating, but may reduce the pull force.
