Neodymium Disc Magnet - 12mm x 1.5mm | N42 | North Marked

Neodymium Rare Earth Magnetic Disc Product Description:

This Neodymium Disc Magnet has a diameter of 12mm and a height of 1.5mm. It has a magnetic flux reading of 1601 Gauss and a strong magnetic pull force of 1.22kg. It is identified by the AMF magnet part number 20043.
Made from powerful Rare Earth magnetic material, this disc magnet is extremely strong relative to its size. This magnet is also protected by a nickel coat for corrosion resistance.

Uses for our Neodymium Rare Earth Disc Magnets:

These small but strong and inexpensive Rare Earth magnets can solve fastening problems around the farm or home. Are you always arguing about where the air-conditioning or TV remote was left? Why not use a couple of the handy little magnets to secure your remotes in place on the wall or coffee table. If you want to store items to hand but out of site, attach them magnetically to the underside of your coffee table or desk.
These magnets are also perfect for fastening gates, doors, cabinetry and windows so they stay in place in the wind, open or closed.
Another popular use for these nifty little magnets is sample boards and display boards. Streamline your shop or workshop using magnets to keep products in site and in order. Perfect for vertical or angled display draws, your products will no longer fall to the floor and get damaged or lost.

One thousand magnets

Absolutely the best service!

Not only are these great magnets, but the service was A++ too!

They were out of stock on the website so I required fairly late on a Saturday night asking when they would be restocked. I wasn’t expecting a reply until early the following week. Instead I got an email within the hour with an answer. They also asked how many on average we order and said they’d try to keep stock levels up so that we’d be able to reorder in a few months. When the magnets arrived at the warehouse they also sent me an email advising the website was being updated ASAP and I could process the order that morning. Magnet arrived within 24hours.

I was very impressed!

NB: Ranges are indicative for product category, please check individual products for specic values within that range.

The most common coating for Neodymium magnets is Nickel + Copper + Nickel (Ni + Cu + Ni). This coating offers the magnet relatively good protection from corrosion and passive applications. If the magnet will be exposed to moisture or liquid then consider the use of an organic coating such as Epoxy. A hard wearing coating, Epoxy is suited to applications where the magnet will come under some friction or knocking.

Magnets are readily available in Blocks, Discs, Cylinders & Rings. AMF Magnetics specializes in the supply of short-run prototype magnets including Arc Segments, various magnetic orientations etc. If you need a magnet size that we don't carry in stock, submit a Design-a-Magnet enquiry for a quote on your custom magnet design.

Neodymium magnets are offered in several different grades. The first section N30-54 has an operating temperature of up to 80 degrees. Most of our stock only goes up to N38. The second section, denoted with the "M" prefix after the grade has an operating temperature 100 degrees. After this the grades are "H", "SH", "UH" & "EH". In order for the magnet to withstand a higher operating temperature, during production more of the raw material PrNd is incorporated as these elements have a naturally occurring resistance to high temperatures.
