This Neodymium Rare Earth Magnetic Disc is extremely strong for its size due to the N42 grade magnetic material used. This powerful Neodymium Magnet has a pull force of 5.48 KG. It has a diameter of 15mm and a height of 5mm. This permanent magnet is axially magnetised and has a copper coating for corrosion resistance.

Nice magnets

These are nice magnets, and they are pretty strong. However, 3 of the 4 magnets I bought broke within the first day of arrival. I was shocked to see that me putting them slowly back together could break them.

fantastic magnets, experiment worked well

conducted an experiment with Y11 Physics students - force on a current carrying wire in a magnet field. Magnets worked well.

Door latch

Full size sliding glass door needed a magnetic latch that would hold. This magnet did the trick beautifully.

Prototype motor that will spin for 15 years

I'm working on a prototype motor that will spin for nearly 6 years unaided, not with the magnets I've bought here – with the magnets I will be buying later on which will have a talk at the shaft of about 200kg.
