Neodymium Rare Earth Magnets provide an extremely strong magnetic field and high coercivity relative to their size. Made from strong permanent Rare Earth, this disc has a magnetic flux reading of 1470 Gauss and a pull force of 4.8 kilos. The nickel coating of this strong magnetic disc provides corrosion resistance. This product has a diameter of 25mm and a height of 3mm.
Rare Earth Disc Magnets are used to join, conceal, hold and release or repel in discreet ways. These strong magnets have a strong pull and repel force, relative to their size and can be used in a variety of ways.
Although these magnets can be used in a wide range of applications, one of the most popular uses for these permanent rare earth magnets is for showcases and exhibitions. Displayed objects often require a showcase that is highly secure and aesthetically appealing. These small disc magnets allow display cases to be secure in an unobtrusive, cost-effective and versatile manner.

The Pull Force listed for each magnet is based on lifting 10mm thick steel from a horizontal surface. Magnets on a vertical surface (of 10mm thick steel) are generally able to hold around only 30% of the pull force listed in the product description. This is due to the effects of gravity and the lack of friction between the surface and the shiny magnet. Read More
