Diameter (Inner/Outer) 21mm - 30mm

The magnets included in this size range are incredibly diverse. We have everything from Ferrite disc magnets, Neodymium pot magnets and Warehouse pick-up tools all brought together in this 21mm-30mm category. This size range brings together a sample of products from a number of our product ranges including Equipment & Tools and Home, School & Office. We also have several different types of magnets included such as Ferrite magnets, Neodymium magnets and Alnico magnets.

As this range is limited to magnets with a diameter dimension there are no block magnets, flexible magnets or arc magnets included. Instead you will find a diverse array of disc magnets, ring magnets, sphere magnets and cylinder magnets. Holding pot magnets also feature strongly in this range.

Choosing the best magnet shape

We are proud of the diverse and extensive range of magnets we have available and you can purchase all of our magnets online. However we understand it can be overwhelming to choose the best magnet when there are so many to choose from. We have put together a number of helpful articles in our FAQ and Knowledge Base page to assist our customers. Our friendly sales team are always happy to help if you have any questions and you can contact them via email, phone or via our contact form.

One of the many things to consider when buying a magnet online for your project is the shape of the magnet. Each shape has qualities that make it well suited to different applications, environments or circumstances.

Disc magnets are one of the most widely used shapes. They are ubiquitous in large part due to their appealing thin profile. They are able to be slotted into small spaces or thin materials without compromising the overall look and feel of the product. Ring magnets are also used for this type of application as well as for a number of mechanical situations. The hole in the centre of the ring magnet provides an easy point of attachment, enabling it to be slotted onto other objects we ease.

Cylinder magnets provide increased magnetic power compared to a disc of the same diameter. This is due to the increase in magnetic material present. Cylinder magnets produce a deep and concentrated magnetic field. They are a great choice for applications where the space on one plane or aspect is limited.

The Pull Force listed for each magnet is based on lifting 10mm thick steel from a horizontal surface. Magnets on a vertical surface (of 10mm thick steel) are generally able to hold around only 30% of the pull force listed in the product description. This is due to the effects of gravity and the lack of friction between the surface and the shiny magnet. Read More
