This neodymium magnetic disc has a diameter of 15mm and a height of 3mm. It has a magnetic flux reading of 2338 Gauss and a pull force of 2.84 kilos. This product is identified by the AMF Magnetics part number 20021B.
This small Neodymium magnet is constructed from high-grade N38 magnetic material and the increased strength of the superior grade magnet means it can replace larger dimension magnets and still provide the equivalent magnetic pull-force. Rare Earth magnets have had a significant impact on modern product designs and the development of technologies that depend on small dimensions for their appeal and popularity in today’s market.
Tiny rare earth round magnets are found in miniature speakers, microphones and many other audio devices. They are also key components in electric motors, within consumer products, where they operate in conjunction with an electromagnetic field to generate sound or convert electrical current into motion. The unique combination of super strong magnetic power coupled with lightweight scale allows Neodymium magnets to enhance the performance and appearance of many modern products.

The Pull Force listed for each magnet is based on lifting 10mm thick steel from a horizontal surface. Magnets on a vertical surface (of 10mm thick steel) are generally able to hold around only 30% of the pull force listed in the product description. This is due to the effects of gravity and the lack of friction between the surface and the shiny magnet. Read More
