This neodymium magnetic disc has a diameter of 50mm and a height of 5mm. It has a magnetic flux reading of 1186 Gauss and a pull force of 13.92 kilos. It is identified by the AMF magnet part number D-D50H5-N35.
This circular Neodymium magnet has substantial proportions that give it high magnetic strength. It has dimensions that are easy to handle and make it suitable for a wide range of applications. Many technological innovations in the motor vehicle industry revolve around strong Neodymium magnets. Braking systems, electric motors, charging systems and safety monitoring systems depend on Rare Earth magnetic materials such as Neodymium to operate with consistency and accuracy. These magnets offer permanent power in most conditions that will operate even when electrically powered systems fail. At home, there are also countless ways to incorporate magnetic adhesion into your daily life. Decorating, suspending work tools and implements or making magnetic bonds with non-magnetic surfaces can all be done with a few inexpensive and versatile Neodymium products from the AMF catalogue.

The Pull Force listed for each magnet is based on lifting 10mm thick steel from a horizontal surface. Magnets on a vertical surface (of 10mm thick steel) are generally able to hold around only 30% of the pull force listed in the product description. This is due to the effects of gravity and the lack of friction between the surface and the shiny magnet. Read More
