Neodymium Pot Magnet with Threaded Eyelet - 16mm x 4mm

Neodymium Threaded Magnetic Pot Description:

This Rare Earth Holding Magnet has an m4 thread with a 4mm eyelet attachment. Made from Neodymium Rare Earth magnetic material it has a powerful holding force. It has a weight of 11grams and pull strength of 5.5kg. AMFYPF16 Rare Earth Pot Magnet has a diameter of 16mm, a total height of 14mm and a magnet housing thickness of 5mm.

Uses for our Rare Earth Threaded Eyelet Pot Magnets:

Neodymium Pot Magnets incorporate the high strength of the Rare Earth permanent magnets with the versatility of an attachable element. These holding pot magnets come with a removable eyelet which can be screwed into the thread so that you can attach almost anything.
The strong Neodymium magnets itself is capped in mild steel, leaving the magnetic side exposed. This manipulates the magnetic field and projects it to the exposed base, amplifying the pull force. This casing also protects the magnet from impact damage which is a common occurrence for Neodymium magnets due to their brittle nature.
Theis eyelet variation of the Pot Magnet is common in industries including manufacturing, mine sites and construction sites. They are frequently used to suspend an item from a metal surface or to keep wires, cables or dangerous materials away from hazardous or unsafe locations. This product is a great temporary or permanent solution to a range of storage issues in workshops and at home.

strong little buggers

Strong little buggers but a bit small for what I want though, I will find a use for them, but they are too small for my purpose. Cheap and good but I need to look for something a tad bigger for my purpose without too much cost. Service was great, thanks.

NB: Ranges are indicative for product category, please check individual products for specic values within that range.

The most common coating for Neodymium magnets is Nickel + Copper + Nickel (Ni + Cu + Ni). This coating offers the magnet relatively good protection from corrosion and passive applications. If the magnet will be exposed to moisture or liquid then consider the use of an organic coating such as Epoxy. A hard wearing coating, Epoxy is suited to applications where the magnet will come under some friction or knocking.

Magnets are readily available in Blocks, Discs, Cylinders & Rings. AMF Magnetics specializes in the supply of short-run prototype magnets including Arc Segments, various magnetic orientations etc. If you need a magnet size that we don't carry in stock, submit a Design-a-Magnet enquiry for a quote on your custom magnet design.

Neodymium magnets are offered in several different grades. The first section N30-54 has an operating temperature of up to 80 degrees. Most of our stock only goes up to N38. The second section, denoted with the "M" prefix after the grade has an operating temperature 100 degrees. After this the grades are "H", "SH", "UH" & "EH". In order for the magnet to withstand a higher operating temperature, during production more of the raw material PrNd is incorporated as these elements have a naturally occurring resistance to high temperatures.
