FAQ
How do magnetic strips work?
Magnetic strips use alternating North and South poles on their magnetic side to securely bond to ferrous metal surfaces. The adhesive version attaches to non-magnetic materials, turning almost anything into a magnetic label or display.
Do magnetic strips stick to each other?
Standard strips do not bond strongly to themselves. For a perfect magnetic match, use our Magnafix Tape Systems A & B Tape System, designed with aligned poles for a secure magnetic connection.
How strong are magnetic strips?
Flexible magnetic strips offer light-duty strength ideal for labelling and crafts. For heavier items, select Neodymium magnetic strips, which have a much higher pull force.
Can magnetic strips lose their magnetism?
Strong magnets or intense heat can demagnetise flexible strips. Under normal indoor use, they retain their magnetic properties indefinitely.
