Neodymium Block Magnet - 25mm x 25mm x 25mm | N50

Magnetic Product Description:

This neodymium magnetic block has a length of 25mm, width of 25mm and a height of 25mm. It has a pull force of 39.54 kilos. It is identified by the AMF magnet part number B-W25H25L25-N50.

Uses for our rare earth block magnets:

This is another example of a Neodymium Cube magnet from the extensive AMF range. Be sure to read the enclosed warning and observe the handling advice and instructions carefully in order to avoid personal injury. All Neodymium block magnets of this size or larger are inherently dangerous and need to be handled with great care.
Incredibly, this Neodymium block has the magnetic power to suspend weights of up to 40kg under certain conditions. It contains N50 Grade Neodymium material which is the second strongest grade available.
Unlike magnets with reduced height dimensions such as disc and rectangular magnets, Cube magnets or square magnets as they are also referred to, are generally too thick to be easily embedded in other surfaces or materials. This 25mm thick magnet is no exception.
A neo block of this size and strength is unlikely to be of use for domestic purposes or for hobbyists. Industrial strength magnets like this one are more commonly found in commercial enterprises and large scale processes that can include metal retrieval, water conditioning, medical science and research, mining and resource recovery, applications in the military and for the development and manufacture of motor vehicles.
Neodymium magnets are increasingly used in sophisticated detection and sensing devices and have become important components inside accurate and extremely reliable safety systems like vehicle ABS braking, alarms and communications equipment.

Cool magnet

Super nice magnet, very strong which is impressive.

If you’re new to magnets and want something powerful and manageable this is a good choice .

2 x 25mm cubes

Quick delivery, does what it says on the box. I actually ordered through magnetop, who are based in Melbourne, they said my parcel was ready, over a month later, still nothing, they lied to me blaming Covid...so I ordered through AMF, not as cheap but my order was delivered in two weeks combining from interstate. I will be getting more superb quality magnets from AMF again . Many thanks.

NB: Ranges are indicative for product category, please check individual products for specic values within that range.

The most common coating for Neodymium magnets is Nickel + Copper + Nickel (Ni + Cu + Ni). This coating offers the magnet relatively good protection from corrosion and passive applications. If the magnet will be exposed to moisture or liquid then consider the use of an organic coating such as Epoxy. A hard wearing coating, Epoxy is suited to applications where the magnet will come under some friction or knocking.

Magnets are readily available in Blocks, Discs, Cylinders & Rings. AMF Magnetics specializes in the supply of short-run prototype magnets including Arc Segments, various magnetic orientations etc. If you need a magnet size that we don't carry in stock, submit a Design-a-Magnet enquiry for a quote on your custom magnet design.

Neodymium magnets are offered in several different grades. The first section N30-54 has an operating temperature of up to 80 degrees. Most of our stock only goes up to N38. The second section, denoted with the "M" prefix after the grade has an operating temperature 100 degrees. After this the grades are "H", "SH", "UH" & "EH". In order for the magnet to withstand a higher operating temperature, during production more of the raw material PrNd is incorporated as these elements have a naturally occurring resistance to high temperatures.
