Neodymium Cylinder Magnet - 25mm x 25mm

Magnetic Product Description:

This popular rare earth cylinder has a diameter of 25mm and a height of 25mm. It is an N42 grade rare earth magnet. It has a magnetic flux reading of 5903 Gauss and a pull force of 26.72kg.  It is identified by the AMF magnet part number 21008.

Uses for our rare earth cylinder magnets:

Exhibition floors, trade shows, outdoor markets, conference halls, galleries, forums, whatever the nomenclature, spaces where people display goods to people with a common interest use these 25mmx25mm neodymium cylinder magnets for just about everything.

Magnets can be used to stop table coverings from shifting and to securing posters and merchandise on magnetised display boards. For securing kit and equipment to horizontal surfaces magnets can perform a clamping function without breaching the surface itself, allowing for clean disengagement at the end of the day.

For non-magnetised surfaces, self-adhesive magnetised strips with a peel away paper backing provide a useful alternative without damaging the surface or the materials it is engaging. For the exhibitioner, there is nothing quite like the holding, fixing, releasing and re-holding properties only found with magnets.

As trading and stock conditions vary, as they must, magnets, including these very popular cylinders, release at a known pull force to accommodate a new arrangement. For simple uncluttered display, allowing maximum attention on the product or service itself, not the fastening method, nothing says ‘pick me up’ like a product or brochure magically suspended by magnets.

A simple uncoupling at a certain pull force enables potential customers a tactile experience with the product and an opportunity for the merchant to overcome possible objections. This close engagement with the product or service or brochure, facilitated by the simplicity of magnets enhances the opportunity for impulse purchasing. At the end of the day as the trestle tables are being collapsed, the magnets release their cargo fuss free, cleanly and easily, ready again for service on the next trading day.

These popular cylinder 25mmx25mm neodymium magnets are found throughout the display and signage industries. Retail joiners, residential builders and entertainment industries all use these magnets in a variety of different applications.

Commonly used in mining and quarry industries, engineering firms, marine geotechnical surveyors and the construction sector.

The most common coating for Neodymium magnets is Nickel + Copper + Nickel (Ni + Cu + Ni). This coating offers the magnet relatively good protection from corrosion and passive applications. If the magnet will be exposed to moisture or liquid then consider the use of an organic coating such as Epoxy. A hard wearing coating, Epoxy is suited to applications where the magnet will come under some friction or knocking.

Magnets are readily available in Blocks, Discs, Cylinders & Rings. AMF Magnetics specializes in the supply of short-run prototype magnets including Arc Segments, various magnetic orientations etc. If you need a magnet size that we don't carry in stock, submit a Design-a-Magnet enquiry for a quote on your custom magnet design.

Neodymium magnets are offered in several different grades. The first section N30-54 has an operating temperature of up to 80 degrees. Most of our stock only goes up to N38. The second section, denoted with the "M" prefix after the grade has an operating temperature 100 degrees. After this the grades are "H", "SH", "UH" & "EH". In order for the magnet to withstand a higher operating temperature, during production more of the raw material PrNd is incorporated as these elements have a naturally occurring resistance to high temperatures.
