Magnetic Product Description:
This neodymium magnetic ring has an outer diameter of 30mm, an inner diameter of 10mm and a height of 4mm. It is identified by the AMF magnet part number R-OD30H4ID10.
Uses for our rare earth ring magnets:
Neodymium Ring magnets use Rare Earth magnetic material that is both permanently active and strong. The circular shape is similar to that of disc-shaped magnets, as is the direction of the magnetism, which usually travels between the flat round faces where the North and South poles are found. The round void area in the centre of the ring reduces the volume of magnetic material compared to solid Disc shape magnets, however, Ring magnets have other benefits that compensate for this relative reduction in volume and magnetic power. Neodymium Ring magnets can fit onto non-ferrous shafts or be held in place within a device by a round, raised plastic lug. Ring magnets secured with this practical method do not require glue or the common metal fasteners that can add weight to a device or interfere with magnetic fields. Strong magnetic fields emitted by Neodymium ring magnets are useful in the operation of sensors, switches and electrical equipment used in process monitoring and sound transmission.
