Self Adhesive Magnetic Strip Description:

This self adhesive magnetic tape has a width of 25mm and a thickness of .8mm. The magnetic roll comes in a length of 30 metres and it is identified by the AMF Magnetics part number 59012.

Grade: NF06

Pull force: ≥43g/cm2

This high quality product is made from Strontium or Barium ferrite magnetic material, within a polymer matrix. This flexible magnetic strip provides good demagnetization resistance and reasonable resistance to chemical agents.


Uses for our strong tape magnet:

This magnetic self-adhesive tape, 25mm wide and available in lengths of 30metres, is great for craft projects and DIY around the house. This flexible magnetic tape can be fixed to non-magnetic surfaces via the peel away, self-adhesive surface. You can cut the product to your desired size with a box cutter type blade.

At home, these flexible rubber strips of magnetic tape can be used to uphold postcards, photographs and mementoes. They can be fixed to magnetic surfaces like a refrigerator, washing machine or hot water system. Alternatively use the self-adhesive end to stick to any surface you like.

Many workshops or industrial kitchens use these to secure important signs and symbols of an electrical or plumbing nature to kitchens or bathrooms. Strong magnetic strips provide a versatile fixing method that is safe and secure, permanent and removable with a light touch or minimum material penalty when removed from surfaces to which it has been attached.

For best results, apply the adhesive side to a clean, dry surface and allow it to cure for 24 hours before attaching any weight to the magnet.

Strong magnets for DIY display cabinet

I was looking for some strong magnetic strips for our DIY cabinet for our collectibles to hold up large acrylic sheets. I put the adhesive backings on the shelf and acrylic sheets and they held strong and was immediately impressed by how strong the magnets were. It's been a few weeks and the adhesive has weakened a bit on some of the 20 strips, but it's not a huge issue. It has worked super well for us to be able to take the acrylic panel off to adjust things inside and then snap the sheet back on the shelf.

As of writing, I've just run out of the roll and I will definitely get another.

I use this magnetic adhesive tape in education. The magnets are strong and so is the adhesive. Very happy.

Not up to the task.

Not strong enough for the job. I made light weight block out curtain for camper van. I had hoped applying this tape completely around the border of the fabric that it would hold the curtain in place. No such luck. Didn't even hold the fabric in place for 5 seconds.

Hi Lesley, thank you for your feedback! Unfortunately, as mentioned in the product description this product is best for paper, card, or plastic. If you'd like to use this product for fabric you will have to use liquid nails to adhere the curtain to the adhesive side of the tape. Kind Regards, AMF Magnetics.
