Our Monkey Grip Ferrite Magnets are a ferrite block magnet encased in a white nylon plastic casing and are 28mm x 37mm x 14mm. They are identified by AMF Magnets Part Number 89070.
The monkey grip technique is easy to remember. To place these magnetic eyelets you simply bring, cling and sing. When it’s time to quit the grip, you grab, grin and go!
Small but strong, these magnet equipped eyelets, or monkey grips, can move from position to position without a care in the world. Safe and secure, reliable and reusable, permanent and permitting repositioning, these fasteners with eyes do no damage to surfaces they attach to.
Able to shift or lift a hefty 6.5 kilo’s, these small and unobtrusive magnetic eyelets (28mm x 14mm) or monkey grips are used to suspend decorations, privacy curtains, fairy lights and sun screens and support string or wire arrangements on magnetically abled surfaces.
Surfaces like these are found in many motor homes, caravans and ships as well as portable dwellings associated with mine and construction sites as well as cars, trucks, tractors, excavators and other earth moving equipment. In the home and office magnetically abled surfaces include white good appliances and metal window and door frames, lintels and security screens.
Outside contractors and campers can arrange their vehicles and trailers and use monkey grips to string up a canopy for protection at a moment’s notice. Wherever these monkey grips can help out their operating principle is always the same. Bring, cling and sing. Grab, grin and go.
Suspend wire, string or thread from our Monkey Grip Ferrite Magnets and hold objects up to 6.5kgs.

The Pull Force listed for each magnet is based on lifting 10mm thick steel from a horizontal surface. Magnets on a vertical surface (of 10mm thick steel) are generally able to hold around only 30% of the pull force listed in the product description. This is due to the effects of gravity and the lack of friction between the surface and the shiny magnet. Read More
