This high-strength Neodymium Block Magnet measures 75mm long, 20mm wide, and 5mm thick, featuring a 10mm diameter straight-sided hole precisely centred through the magnet. Manufactured from premium N45-grade rare earth neodymium and protected by a durable NiCuNi (Nickel-Copper-Nickel) coating, this magnet delivers exceptional magnetic performance in a compact and versatile design.

Identified by AMF Magnetics part number B-W20H5L75ID10-N45, this magnet is designed for applications requiring secure mechanical fixing combined with powerful magnetic holding force. The large central hole allows the magnet to be easily mounted using bolts, screws, threaded rods, or custom brackets, making installation simple across a wide range of industrial, commercial, and DIY projects.

Key Features

  • Dimensions: 75mm (L) x 20mm (W) x 5mm (T)
  • Central hole diameter: 10mm
  • Magnetic Grade: N45 Neodymium
  • Coating: NiCuNi (Nickel-Copper-Nickel)
  • Rare earth magnet for maximum strength and performance
  • Straight-sided through-hole for versatile mounting options
  • Suitable for bolted, screwed, or bracket-mounted installations
  • AMF Magnetics Part Number: B-W20H5L75ID10-N45

Common Applications

The combination of a powerful neodymium magnetic field and a large mounting hole makes this magnet popular across numerous industries and trades.

Common uses include:

  • Steel fabrication and metalworking projects
  • Machinery guards, fixtures, and removable panels
  • Workshop jigs and tooling systems
  • Construction and building applications
  • Signage and display mounting
  • Magnetic latches and closures
  • Industrial holding and positioning systems
  • Maintenance and repair tasks
  • Automotive and engineering projects
  • Custom magnetic assemblies

The straight-sided hole also opens opportunities beyond conventional industrial use. Furniture manufacturers, interior designers, and textile specialists often incorporate these magnets into concealed fastening systems, upholstery, curtains, removable panels, and bespoke design projects. Fashion and costume designers may also utilise the central hole for stitching, securing, or integrating powerful magnetic closures into garments and accessories.

Why Choose N45 Neodymium Magnets?

Neodymium magnets are the strongest commercially available permanent magnets, offering outstanding holding power relative to their size and weight. Their exceptional strength allows designers, engineers, manufacturers, and hobbyists to create compact, reliable magnetic solutions that would be impossible using traditional ferrite magnets.

Whether you're mounting equipment, creating removable fixtures, designing custom furniture, or developing innovative magnetic products, this 75mm x 20mm x 5mm N45 Neodymium Block Magnet with a 10mm centre hole provides a durable, versatile, and high-performance magnetic fastening solution.

NB: Ranges are indicative for product category, please check individual products for specic values within that range.

The most common coating for Neodymium magnets is Nickel + Copper + Nickel (Ni + Cu + Ni). This coating offers the magnet relatively good protection from corrosion and passive applications. If the magnet will be exposed to moisture or liquid then consider the use of an organic coating such as Epoxy. A hard wearing coating, Epoxy is suited to applications where the magnet will come under some friction or knocking.

Magnets are readily available in Blocks, Discs, Cylinders & Rings. AMF Magnetics specializes in the supply of short-run prototype magnets including Arc Segments, various magnetic orientations etc. If you need a magnet size that we don't carry in stock, submit a Design-a-Magnet enquiry for a quote on your custom magnet design.

Neodymium magnets are offered in several different grades. The first section N30-54 has an operating temperature of up to 80 degrees. Most of our stock only goes up to N38. The second section, denoted with the "M" prefix after the grade has an operating temperature 100 degrees. After this the grades are "H", "SH", "UH" & "EH". In order for the magnet to withstand a higher operating temperature, during production more of the raw material PrNd is incorporated as these elements have a naturally occurring resistance to high temperatures.
