Shower Door Magnetic Tapes
The annoying problem of leaking shower screens and wet bathroom floors can be eliminated with AMF magnetic shower screen seals. Whether the problem leak is at Home, Work or inside your Caravan, Boat or RV, a magnetic shower screen seal keeps water contained inside wet areas and keeps everything else dry. Our magnetic strips and tape provide a durable and easy solution.
The magnetic system operates with two lengths of matched flexible magnetic strip that have opposite poles and a peel-away adhesive on the back. The strips attach to each side of the shower opening using the adhesive backing. One on the door and the other with the opposing pole to the frame. Once in place, they naturally attract and bond with each other to form a watertight seal when the door is closed.
The flexible magnetic strips are 10mm wide and will fit most shower frames and doors. Follow the instructions provided for correct installation and excellent results. These magnetic seals are popular with Motorhome and Campervan owners who find the rigours of constant travel can lead to their folding or sliding shower screens and doors becoming loose, broken or dislodged.
Many find these magnetic seals to be the perfect solution for securing doors during transit or while parked on uneven campsites. AMF has a huge range of Self-Adhesive Magnetic Tapes available with opposing A and B poles. They are available in 30m rolls or by the metre and come in widths of 12.5mm, 25mm and 19mm. Cut the strips to any length you need to get the perfect fit. Thorough cleaning of all surfaces is recommended before adhering the magnetic strip into place.

Can I seal a shower screen door with magnetic tape?
Yes! The AMF Magnetics Shower Screen Magnetic Tape Seal Kit is designed to seal the shower doors closed. The magnetic tape kit works in most situations where a self-adhesive magnetic strip is required. Our generic 10mm magnetic strips are completely flat and work in most circumstances.
What's included in the AMF shower screen magnetic tape kit?
The complete kit contains a 2m x 10mm x 1.5mm magnetic self-adhesive strip(Part A) and a 2m x 10mm x 1.5mm magnetic self-adhesive strip (opposing side Part B).
How do I install a shower screen magnetic tape kit?
Before you start, make sure you measure the required tape correctly, clean the sufaces to be magnetised with alcohol and check that it’s dry. Cut the required lengths of both magnetic strips with scissors. Peel away the adhesive cover from either one of the magnetic strips and press the adhesive side firmly onto the door edge. Place the opposing magnetic strip’s magnetic side onto the already adhered magnetic strip, aligning both strips perfectly to then peel away the opposing strip’s adhesive cover. Close the door firmly to position the opposing strip onto the door frame. Open door and press against the opposing magnetic strip to check it has secured strongly to the frame.
What does Part A and Part B mean?
If you purchase the magnetic strips as separate rolls or lengths, you will need to buy Part A and Part B rolls, so that the opposite magnetic poles attract to each other. To install, follow the same instructions as for the shower screen magnetic kit.
