This Self Adhesive Magnetic Tape has a width of 10mm and a thickness of 1.5mm and a length of 30 metres. This product has a strong adhesive on one side protected by a paper backing. This Magnetic Tape is identified by AMF Magnetics Product Code 59057A. This product can be used alone, or in conjunction with it's corresponding PART B, which can be found here.
Self Adhesive Magnetic Strip Part B is made from Strontium or Barium ferrite powder within a polymer matrix. Our flexible magnetic products provide good demagnetisation resistance and reasonable resistance to chemical agents.
This product is not recommended for use with large sheets of perspex thicker than 6mm.
Please note: Acrylic sheeting is a heavy material and care should be taken to ensure thicker sheets are installed in such a way as to allow for the window sill to bear the actual weight of the sheet and the magnetic tape serves simply to hold it in place.
Click here for our Magnafix Directions of Use.
Our 10mm Flexible Magnetic Tape uses a high quality 3M adhesive so you can securely attach it to any surface. Ideal for craft projects or adhering printed and other material to ferrous metallic surfaces. You can easily cut to size with a pair of scissors or a Stanley knife. This strip is strong and durable enough for attaching fly screens, fly wire and signage to any steel surface.
This flexible magnetic strip can be used to fix signage to refrigerators, washing machines, hot water systems or other electrical appliances. Also commonly used to suspend postcards, photographs and mementoes on to any vertical surface in homes, warehouses or offices.
For best results, apply the adhesive side to a clean, dry surface and allow it to cure for 24 hours before attaching any weight to the magnet.
For lightweight Flyscreen and Double Glazing applications (3mm thickness or less) we recommend Magnafix with 3M Adhesive - 12.5mm x 1.6 mm | 30m ROLL | PART A

The Pull Force listed for each magnet is based on lifting 10mm thick steel from a horizontal surface. Magnets on a vertical surface (of 10mm thick steel) are generally able to hold around only 30% of the pull force listed in the product description. This is due to the effects of gravity and the lack of friction between the surface and the shiny magnet. Read More
