This powerful Neodymium Block Magnet measures 15mm long x 5mm wide x 5mm thick and delivers an impressive 3.03kg pull force despite its compact size. Manufactured from high-performance N45 grade Neodymium (NdFeB), this rare earth magnet features a durable chemical nickel coating that helps protect against corrosion, wear, and environmental exposure.
This magnet is identified by AMF Magnetics Part Number 22036.
Features & Benefits
Dimensions: 15mm x 5mm x 5mm
Magnetic Grade: N45 Neodymium
Pull Force: 3.03kg
Protective Chemical Nickel Coating
Compact size with exceptional holding strength
High resistance to demagnetisation under normal operating conditions
Suitable for commercial, industrial, engineering, and DIY applications
Common Uses for Neodymium Block Magnets
Neodymium magnets are the strongest commercially available permanent magnets and are widely used across modern industries where maximum magnetic strength is required in a compact form. This small block magnet weighs only a few grams yet can securely hold objects weighing over 3 kilograms under ideal conditions.
Common applications include:
Electric motors and generators.
Sensors and automation systems.
Magnetic closures and latches.
Audio equipment including speakers and microphones.
Robotics and engineering projects.
Battery-powered devices and appliances.
Product displays and retail fixtures.
Scientific, educational, and prototyping applications.
DIY projects, crafts, and hobby use.
Why Choose Neodymium Magnets?
Rare earth Neodymium magnets offer an exceptional strength-to-size ratio, allowing designers and engineers to create smaller, lighter, and more efficient products. Their powerful magnetic fields are critical in technologies ranging from cordless power tools and electric vehicles to renewable energy systems and consumer electronics.
By enabling more efficient electric motors and generators, Neodymium magnets help improve energy efficiency, extend battery life, and reduce power consumption in a wide range of applications including electric bicycles, scooters, hybrid vehicles, automation equipment, and portable electronics.
Whether you need a compact magnet for a precision engineering project or a powerful holding solution for industrial applications, this 15mm x 5mm x 5mm N45 Neodymium Block Magnet delivers reliable performance in a remarkably small package.

NB: Ranges are indicative for product category, please check individual products for specic values within that range.
The most common coating for Neodymium magnets is Nickel + Copper + Nickel (Ni + Cu + Ni). This coating offers the magnet relatively good protection from corrosion and passive applications. If the magnet will be exposed to moisture or liquid then consider the use of an organic coating such as Epoxy. A hard wearing coating, Epoxy is suited to applications where the magnet will come under some friction or knocking.
Magnets are readily available in Blocks, Discs, Cylinders & Rings. AMF Magnetics specializes in the supply of short-run prototype magnets including Arc Segments, various magnetic orientations etc. If you need a magnet size that we don't carry in stock, submit a Design-a-Magnet enquiry for a quote on your custom magnet design.
Neodymium magnets are offered in several different grades. The first section N30-54 has an operating temperature of up to 80 degrees. Most of our stock only goes up to N38. The second section, denoted with the "M" prefix after the grade has an operating temperature 100 degrees. After this the grades are "H", "SH", "UH" & "EH". In order for the magnet to withstand a higher operating temperature, during production more of the raw material PrNd is incorporated as these elements have a naturally occurring resistance to high temperatures.
