This Countersunk Pot Magnet is made from a powerful Rare Earth magnet encased in a mild steel, nickel coated holding pot. The metal casing provides for superior durability, allowing the brittle magnet within to withstand impact and corrosion to a greater extent. This product has a diameter of 25mm, a countersunk hole diameter of 5.5mm and a thickness of 8mm. This super-strong holding magnet has a pull force of 14kg and a weight of 23 grams.

This Countersunk Neodymium Magnet is widely popular due to its versatility and multitude of applications. These handy 25mm pot magnets are suitable for builders and tradespeople or DIY home improvement. The countersunk hole in the centre is specifically designed for screws. This means the magnet can easily be secured in place with a simple screw. Great product and down to earth service

I ordered magnets from AMF and was really happy with the experience. The website was easy to use, and it was simple to find the right magnets for my project.

4 x Neodymium Countersunk Pot Magnet - 25mm x 8mm

Magnets as expected, well packed with fast delivery ... just haven't had time to use them as yet. No keeper was attached to the last in the string so attached to a misc steel object currently, perhaps that's something to give consideration to in the future.

Perfect for the home studio

I've placed a number of magnets on the walls above my work bench. Plenty strong enough to attach small tools or metal art work. Countersunk magnets fixed with coloured screws combine style and function.

The most common coating for Neodymium magnets is Nickel + Copper + Nickel (Ni + Cu + Ni). This coating offers the magnet relatively good protection from corrosion and passive applications. If the magnet will be exposed to moisture or liquid then consider the use of an organic coating such as Epoxy. A hard wearing coating, Epoxy is suited to applications where the magnet will come under some friction or knocking.

Magnets are readily available in Blocks, Discs, Cylinders & Rings. AMF Magnetics specializes in the supply of short-run prototype magnets including Arc Segments, various magnetic orientations etc. If you need a magnet size that we don't carry in stock, submit a Design-a-Magnet enquiry for a quote on your custom magnet design.

Neodymium magnets are offered in several different grades. The first section N30-54 has an operating temperature of up to 80 degrees. Most of our stock only goes up to N38. The second section, denoted with the "M" prefix after the grade has an operating temperature 100 degrees. After this the grades are "H", "SH", "UH" & "EH". In order for the magnet to withstand a higher operating temperature, during production more of the raw material PrNd is incorporated as these elements have a naturally occurring resistance to high temperatures.
