Ferrite Pot Magnet - 55mm x 11mm

Magnetic Product Description:

This ferrite pot magnet has a diameter of 55mm, a height of 11mm and a pull force of 12kg. It has a 22mm magnet bore and a 4.6mm pot bore. This ferrite magnet is identified by the AMF magnet part number 89020.

Uses for our Ferrite Pot Magnets:

Manufacturers of safety and environmental products service the civil works sector with delivery of items including temporary fencing and accessories, concrete and water filled barriers, signage and car park and pedestrian safety systems. Ferrite pot magnets like these 55mmx11mm models, housing a central void for attachment with a screw, bolt or rivet to nonmagnetic surfaces are used in a variety of fastening roles throughout these industrial grade work sites. With a muscular pull force of 12 kg, these versatile magnets, some able to take a threaded hook or eyelet as an alternative holding function are able to adapt to the challenging and evolving environment that are civil work sites. Civil works or civil engineering is a very significant discipline including the design, construction and maintenance of roads, bridges, canals and dams.

Magnets of all kinds are deployed in lifting, carrying and release agents on heavy track excavators and like machines. As temporary pinning, fastening or holding methods for safety netting, pedestrian barriers and suspension of signs to existing structures magnets like ferrite pot magnets provide a quick secure hold and quick release at a known pull force at days end, for a new engagement as the project advances or as weather or traffic conditions change.

Magnets are also used in the steel shipping containers deposited on these sites to secure tools and equipment at days end. This method of suspending tools like shovels, rakes and crow bars with magnets on the walls, maximises the space available inside the shipping containers and makes them easier to find the next day.

Civil construction works almost always involve an underground scope of works. This has been occurring even before the Romans built aqueducts prior to terrestrial structures. Breaking ground above and below, magnets and magnetism constitute a viable alternative permanent and removable fastening, holding and release agency that provides options in a complex and difficult scope of works that rewards creativity and efficiency.

Our ferrite pot magnets have a mild steel casing over a ferrite ring magnet with a round central hole for fixing a bolt, rivet or screw, for attaching to non-magnetic surfaces. With no moving parts this ferrite pot magnet requires no maintenance beyond ensuring the magnet is clean before use.
