Neodymium Pot Magnet with M6 Female Thread - D32mm x 18mm | Stainless Steel Coating

Female Thread Neodymium Pot Magnet – Diameter 32mm x 18mm | Stainless Steel Coating

The Female Thread Neodymium Pot Magnet – 32mm x 18mm combines an N35 neodymium magnet, a stainless steel coating across the entire pot magnet housing and a rated pull force of 34kg. Featuring a round shoulder design and an internal female thread, this compact rare earth pot magnet provides a practical mounting solution for removable fixtures, workshop accessories and custom magnetic assemblies.

Measuring 32mm in diameter and 18mm in overall height, the assembly houses an internal neodymium magnet measuring 24mm in diameter x 3.3mm thick. The complete pot housing features a SUS410 stainless steel coating, including the base and round shoulder. The housing protects the internal magnet, while the pot construction concentrates magnetic attraction towards the holding face.

Female Thread for Versatile Mounting

The female-threaded connection accepts a compatible male-threaded bolt, hook, handle or bracket. Once assembled, the magnet provides a removable connection to a suitable steel surface, allowing fixtures to be repositioned without drilling into the attachment surface.

Its round shoulder profile provides a compact mounting arrangement for designs requiring a threaded connection and a circular magnetic base.

Key Features

  • Overall dimensions: 32mm diameter x 18mm height.

  • Rated pull force: 34kg.

  • Internal magnet dimensions: 24mm diameter x 3.3mm thick.

  • Magnet grade: N35 neodymium rare earth.

  • Coating: SUS410 stainless steel across the entire pot magnet housing.

  • Mounting connection: Female thread.

  • Design: Round shoulder pot magnet.

Applications for Female Thread Pot Magnets

This 32mm stainless steel-coated neodymium pot magnet is suitable for removable signage, display fixtures, workshop organisers, positioning jigs and equipment accessories. Its female thread allows it to be incorporated into custom assemblies using a correctly matched threaded fitting.

Selection note: The 34kg pull force is a direct-pull rating, not a safe working load. Actual holding performance depends on steel thickness, surface condition, air gaps and load direction. Vertical mounting and sideways loading reduce holding capacity. Confirm the thread size and usable thread depth before selecting a fitting.

The most common coating for Neodymium magnets is Nickel + Copper + Nickel (Ni + Cu + Ni). This coating offers the magnet relatively good protection from corrosion and passive applications. If the magnet will be exposed to moisture or liquid then consider the use of an organic coating such as Epoxy. A hard wearing coating, Epoxy is suited to applications where the magnet will come under some friction or knocking.

Magnets are readily available in Blocks, Discs, Cylinders & Rings. AMF Magnetics specializes in the supply of short-run prototype magnets including Arc Segments, various magnetic orientations etc. If you need a magnet size that we don't carry in stock, submit a Design-a-Magnet enquiry for a quote on your custom magnet design.

Neodymium magnets are offered in several different grades. The first section N30-54 has an operating temperature of up to 80 degrees. Most of our stock only goes up to N38. The second section, denoted with the "M" prefix after the grade has an operating temperature 100 degrees. After this the grades are "H", "SH", "UH" & "EH". In order for the magnet to withstand a higher operating temperature, during production more of the raw material PrNd is incorporated as these elements have a naturally occurring resistance to high temperatures.
