This rare earth magnet has a length of 20mm, a width of 12mm and a thickness of 5mm. It has a magnetic flux reading of 3335 gauss and an approx: pull force of 5kg. It is identified by the AMF magnet part number 22021D. Like the epoxy coated magnet of similar size this magnet has a 4.5mm hole centred thru the magnet.
This Neodymium block magnet has a 4.5mm diameter straight-sided hole through its centre making it an incredibly versatile and handy magnet. Able to be attached using a bolt, screw or threaded onto a bracket, this magnet is popular with maintenance workers, builders, steel fabricators, and hobbyists. The straight-sided hole also allows for less conventional uses where the magnets are stitched into textiles such as furniture makers, interior designers and even fashion designers.

The Pull Force listed for each magnet is based on lifting 10mm thick steel from a horizontal surface. Magnets on a vertical surface (of 10mm thick steel) are generally able to hold around only 30% of the pull force listed in the product description. This is due to the effects of gravity and the lack of friction between the surface and the shiny magnet. Read More
