This rare earth disc has a diameter of 6.35mm and a height of 5.08mm. It has a magnetic flux reading of 5318 Gauss and a pull force of 1.25kg. It is identified by the AMF magnet part number 20069.
The thickness or profile of this Neodymium disc allows it to be easily handled and moved around whilst still magnetically attached to the metal surface. It is able to be pushed or slid by applying sidewards pressure. This is not a characteristic shared by magnets with a thinner profile, which can be difficult to move without first detaching from the metal substrate. This attribute makes it ideal for use in applications where objects need to be removed or repositioned on a regular basis. Product display boards and visual charts are a breeze using these handy little magnets. Track items through a working process or update your winner board as the month progresses by simply sliding the magnets around your wall or whiteboard.

The Pull Force listed for each magnet is based on lifting 10mm thick steel from a horizontal surface. Magnets on a vertical surface (of 10mm thick steel) are generally able to hold around only 30% of the pull force listed in the product description. This is due to the effects of gravity and the lack of friction between the surface and the shiny magnet. Read More
