These worked perfectly to add more hanging options in my apartment's modern and bare kitchen. They work perfectly to hang tea towels from my fridge to dry (the only hanging option in my kitchen!). Caution: I made the mistake of trying to slide one into a different position and it scratched the finish on my fridge. They have a strong magnetism and are made of metal, so I should have known better.
