Neodymium Magnetic Hook Product Description:

This strong magnetic hook consists of a heavy-duty Rare Earth Magnetic pot and a detachable threaded hook. Powerful Rare Earth magnets allow this magnet a strong holding power of 5.5kg for its weight of 11 grams. It has a diameter of 16mm, a total height of 37mm and a magnet housing thickness of 5mm. This neodymium pot magnet has an M4 thread with a 9mm hook.
The steel capping on the upper side of the pot magnet concentrates magnetic force to the base and greatly increases its strength and holding ability. The capping also protects the magnet from collision damage and corrosive elements.

Uses for our Neodymium Rare Earth Pot Holder Hook Magnets:

Many of our customers use AMF Hook Magnets in commercial or recreational situations. Our Neodymium Holding Pot magnets with a Threaded Hook can help organise tools and equipment. Hook Magnets will attach to any metallic surface and can be repeatedly removed, reused and relocated as often as is required.
Ropes, power leads and electrical wiring can be organised and elevated away from hazardous areas. These magnetic hooks can also be used to hold or suspend objects from metal racking or shelves. Heavy Duty Magnetic Hooks are ideal for any job that requires a strong, secure hold. These powerful magnets are great for hanging kitchen utensils like pots and pans, in bathrooms, and laundries to keep appliances off benches and out of the way. These magnetic hooks are super handy in your garage, shed or workspace for keeping your tools safe and organised. The most common coating for Neodymium magnets is Nickel + Copper + Nickel (Ni + Cu + Ni). This coating offers the magnet relatively good protection from corrosion and passive applications. If the magnet will be exposed to moisture or liquid then consider the use of an organic coating such as Epoxy. A hard wearing coating, Epoxy is suited to applications where the magnet will come under some friction or knocking.

Magnets are readily available in Blocks, Discs, Cylinders & Rings. AMF Magnetics specializes in the supply of short-run prototype magnets including Arc Segments, various magnetic orientations etc. If you need a magnet size that we don't carry in stock, submit a Design-a-Magnet enquiry for a quote on your custom magnet design.

Neodymium magnets are offered in several different grades. The first section N30-54 has an operating temperature of up to 80 degrees. Most of our stock only goes up to N38. The second section, denoted with the "M" prefix after the grade has an operating temperature 100 degrees. After this the grades are "H", "SH", "UH" & "EH". In order for the magnet to withstand a higher operating temperature, during production more of the raw material PrNd is incorporated as these elements have a naturally occurring resistance to high temperatures.
