Product Code AMFYPC32H25
Pull Force* 34kg
Style Rare Earth Male Thread (M6) Pot Magnet
*Measured against up to 10mm mild steel.
Male Thread Neodymium Pot Magnet - Diameter 32mm x 18mm

Built for strength and versatility, this Neodymium Pot Magnet with M6 Male Thread delivers powerful holding performance in a compact, industrial-grade design. Featuring a 32mm diameter and 33mm total height, this magnet is engineered for secure mounting, heavy-duty applications, and reliable long-term use.

Encased in a durable steel housing, the internal D24mm x 3.9mm neodymium magnet is protected while its magnetic field is concentrated on the working face, maximising holding strength and efficiency. With an impressive pull force of up to 34kg, this magnet is ideal for demanding applications where a strong, single-sided magnetic hold is required.

The integrated M6 male thread with a 25mm external boss (thread length) allows for quick and secure attachment to a wide range of fixtures, brackets, and assemblies, making installation simple and adaptable.

Mounting and securing equipment in industrial or workshop environments.

Signage, displays, and point-of-sale fixtures.

Automotive, fabrication, and engineering setups.

Hanging, clamping, or positioning heavy items with confidence.

Why Choose a Male Thread Pot Magnet?

Male threaded pot magnets offer a simple and secure fastening solution, allowing you to attach the magnet directly into pre-threaded holes or with compatible fittings. The steel casing not only protects the magnet but also enhances magnetic performance by directing the strength toward the contact surface.

Important Notes:

Pull force is tested under ideal conditions (direct contact with thick, flat mild steel). Real-world performance may vary depending on surface conditions, coatings, and alignment.

For vertical or overhead applications, the effective holding force will be reduced due to gravity and surface friction.

Neodymium magnets are brittle and should be handled carefully to avoid chipping or cracking.

Combining high strength, durability, and easy installation, this M6 male thread pot magnet is a reliable solution for professional and industrial magnetic mounting applications.

The most common coating for Neodymium magnets is Nickel + Copper + Nickel (Ni + Cu + Ni). This coating offers the magnet relatively good protection from corrosion and passive applications. If the magnet will be exposed to moisture or liquid then consider the use of an organic coating such as Epoxy. A hard wearing coating, Epoxy is suited to applications where the magnet will come under some friction or knocking.

Magnets are readily available in Blocks, Discs, Cylinders & Rings. AMF Magnetics specializes in the supply of short-run prototype magnets including Arc Segments, various magnetic orientations etc. If you need a magnet size that we don't carry in stock, submit a Design-a-Magnet enquiry for a quote on your custom magnet design.

Neodymium magnets are offered in several different grades. The first section N30-54 has an operating temperature of up to 80 degrees. Most of our stock only goes up to N38. The second section, denoted with the "M" prefix after the grade has an operating temperature 100 degrees. After this the grades are "H", "SH", "UH" & "EH". In order for the magnet to withstand a higher operating temperature, during production more of the raw material PrNd is incorporated as these elements have a naturally occurring resistance to high temperatures.
