Neodymium Pot Magnet with M6 Male Thread - D36mm x 33mm (H) | 25mm External Boss

Designed for demanding applications, this Neodymium Pot Magnet with M6 Male Thread delivers exceptional holding strength in a robust, compact form. With a 36mm diameter and 33mm total height, this heavy-duty magnet is ideal for secure mounting, clamping, and positioning tasks across industrial and commercial environments.

Internal magnet size is D27mm x 4mm.

Encased in a durable steel housing, the internal neodymium magnet is protected while the magnetic field is concentrated on the working surface, maximising efficiency and holding power. With a pull force of up to 41kg, this magnet provides reliable, high-strength performance for applications where a secure hold is critical.

The integrated M6 male thread with a 25mm external boss (thread length) ensures easy installation into threaded components or fixtures, offering a versatile and dependable mounting solution.

Key Features

Diameter: 36mm

Total Height: 33mm

Magnet Housing Thickness: 8mm

Thread Type: M6 Male Thread

External Boss (Thread Length): 25mm

Pull Force: Approx. 41kg

Weight: 62g

Part Number: AMFYPC36H25

Applications

Industrial mounting and heavy-duty holding.

Workshop, fabrication, and engineering setups.

Signage, displays, and fixtures.

Automotive and mechanical assemblies.

Hanging or securing heavier items with confidence.

Why Choose a Male Thread Pot Magnet?

Male threaded pot magnets provide a fast, secure, and reusable fixing solution, allowing direct installation into threaded holes or compatible fittings. The steel pot design not only protects the magnet but also amplifies and directs the magnetic force to the contact surface for maximum performance.

Important Notes

Pull force is tested under ideal conditions (direct contact with thick, flat mild steel). Actual performance may vary depending on surface conditions, coatings, and alignment.

For vertical or overhead use, the effective holding force will be reduced due to gravity and surface friction.

Neodymium magnets are brittle and should be handled carefully to avoid chipping or cracking.

Offering increased holding strength and reliable performance, this 36mm diameter M6 male thread pot magnet is a powerful solution for professional and industrial magnetic applications.

The most common coating for Neodymium magnets is Nickel + Copper + Nickel (Ni + Cu + Ni). This coating offers the magnet relatively good protection from corrosion and passive applications. If the magnet will be exposed to moisture or liquid then consider the use of an organic coating such as Epoxy. A hard wearing coating, Epoxy is suited to applications where the magnet will come under some friction or knocking.

Magnets are readily available in Blocks, Discs, Cylinders & Rings. AMF Magnetics specializes in the supply of short-run prototype magnets including Arc Segments, various magnetic orientations etc. If you need a magnet size that we don't carry in stock, submit a Design-a-Magnet enquiry for a quote on your custom magnet design.

Neodymium magnets are offered in several different grades. The first section N30-54 has an operating temperature of up to 80 degrees. Most of our stock only goes up to N38. The second section, denoted with the "M" prefix after the grade has an operating temperature 100 degrees. After this the grades are "H", "SH", "UH" & "EH". In order for the magnet to withstand a higher operating temperature, during production more of the raw material PrNd is incorporated as these elements have a naturally occurring resistance to high temperatures.
